Women receive all-inclusive care at Pantai Hospital Cheras in collaboration with the Obstetrics & Gynaecology departments. This encompasses not only general well-being, but also reproductive health, all aspects one should receive in maternal health. This includes care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. There are many varying specialties of the field such as maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive medicine & infertility, gynecologic oncology, and pelvic reconstructive surgery, as well as family planning and paediatric and menopausal gynaecology.

Maternal & Prenatal Care

• Conception-related counselling and pregnancy preparation.
• Standard antenatal care, including ultrasounds and monitoring of the fetus.
• Additional maternal and fetal care for pregnancies at high risk.
• Thorough services for labour and childbirth (vaginal births and C-sections) with help from many skilled medical professionals, including obstetricians, midwives, anaesthetists, and neonatologists.
• Postnatal services for the mother and her screened newborn, along with support for nursing.

Gynaecological Health & Well-Woman Services

The disorders and illnesses of the female reproductive system that we treat and oversee include but are not limited to the following:

• Gynecological disorders of menstruation (dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, abnormal menstrual cycle), (hormonal issues, medication, menopausal symptoms, therapy);
• (non-parental involuntary, ability and ancillary issues).

• Laparoscopy to evaluate and treat pain, endometriosis, and pelvic disease, as well as infertility
• Where appropriate, we also offer advanced gynaecological surgery (myomectomy, hysterectomy, surgery of the ovaries) performed by qualified gynaecological surgeons.
