Shaharul Nizam Sahrudin is the Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat.
Under his leadership, the hospital has gained recognition for its comprehensive cardiac services, operating the only Heart Centre in Northern Johor. The facility is testament to the hospital's commitment to meeting the rising demand for treatment of heart-related diseases, to provide care for the community.
Shaharul led the hospital’s accreditation by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH), ensuring that all patients receive the highest standards of service quality and patient care. He also oversaw its expansion to its current capacity of 116 beds and the recruitment of over 30 medical specialists.
Additionally, he advanced the hospital’s medical technologies by bringing in the CT Coronary Calcium Scoring for early detection of Coronary Artery Disease and a 160 Slice CT Scan that utilises the latest advances in low dose technology.
Shaharul joined IHH Healthcare Malaysia as Head of Human Resources of Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat. He was then progressively promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and finally to Chief Executive Officer in April 2017.
