Yow Huai Mim

Chief Executive Officer,

Pantai Hospital Ipoh

Yow Huai Mim is the Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Ipoh. This brings her career within IHH Healthcare Malaysia full circle, as she first joined as Head of Pharmacy of Pantai Hospital Ipoh in 2003.

Prior to this appointment, Yow was Head of Clinical Services Development for Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. She contributed to developing new clinical services such as licensed water birth and SIRT (selective internal radiation therapy) for liver tumours; and introduced new technologies such as equipment with AI capabilities (ECHO, endoscope) and robotic surgical systems such as the Da Vinci and Mako machines.

Yow has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. She has held various roles within IHH Healthcare Malaysia, including Head of Pricing, Division Lead for Healthcare and Finance Informatics, and Subject Matter Expert in the Pharmacy and Inventory department.

Yow is a member of the Malaysia Pharmaceutical Society.
