Admission Guide Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur

We understand that being admitted to a hospital can be worrying at times. Thus, we strive to provide you with a seamless experience during your admission. Feel free to approach our staff at any time if you require assistance.

Admission

Admission Counter:

  • Block C, Ground Floor
  • Monday - Sunday: 7.00am to 9.00pm
  • After 9.00pm: Admission will be done at the Emergency Department.

International Lounge:

  • Block C&D, 6th Floor
  • Monday – Sunday: 7.00am to 9.00pm

Emergency Department:

  • Block D, Ground Floor
  • Monday - Sunday
  • All emergency admission: 24-Hours
  • Normal admission: 9.00pm to 7.00am

Documents to bring

  • Admission Letter
  • Patient Identification (NRIC for Malaysian or Passport for foreign patient)
  • Valid insurance card for insured patients
  • Guarantee Letter for patients with corporate insurance coverage

During your stay

For your own comfort, you are encouraged to bring the followings:

  • Towel
  • Clothes – night attire/light comfortable clothing
  • A pair of non-slip slippers
  • Extra toiletries
  • Reading materials

You will be served with three meals and an afternoon snacks each day. Meals are complimentary for patients only. All meals are planned to meet your nutritional and dietary needs, with consideration of your cultural and religious perspectives.


Discharge

We will proceed with the discharge process once your doctor has certified your discharge.


Important Notes

  • In case of emergency, please proceed to the Emergency Department located at the Ground Floor of Block D.
  • All admissions require a deposit and/or letter of guarantee.
  • Payment can be made by cash or any major credit card.
  • Please do not keep large sums of money, jewellery and other valuables during your stay in the hospital.
  • The hospital will not be responsible for the loss of any items.
  • Half-day room rate will apply for discharge between 12.00pm – 6.00pm.
  • Full-day room rate will apply for discharge after 6.00pm.
  • Upon your doctor certifying your discharge, it will take up to 2 more hours to process your bills and prescriptions.
  • When the bill is ready, the staff will inform you and a discharge slip will be issued for you to settle your bill.
